Estimates are estimates

Where the site calculates a figure, such as in an estimator, the result is an estimate. It uses the published rates and the published income and assets tests, but your actual payment is worked out by Services Australia based on your full circumstances. Treat any calculated figure as a guide, not a decision.

Rates change

Payment rates change at each indexation, four times a year. We work to keep the site current, but a figure can be superseded by a new rate. Always confirm your entitlement with Services Australia on servicesaustralia.gov.au or through your myGov account before you rely on it.

We do not know your circumstances

BenefitRates holds no information about you. We do not know or state your personal payment dates, your payment history, or what you are entitled to. Anything you enter into an estimator stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
